Old cans of coffee were reemployed as penholders. And there is nothing ...Exactly, they are different. And there is nothing wrong with vagueness. The point is: what is your (the author's) aim? If you are writing a comic, you should use the specificities of comics to pull the best out of your medium. In other words, drawings should not be decorations to the words, but should carry a meaning by themselves, in a way that only comics can do. Otherwise, if you don't want or are not able to convey enough sense in your drawings alone, you could consider the possibility of just writing fiction. I'm referring especially to the outburst of autobiographical graphic novels with poor visual appeal.Ceciliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15203553617274203523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2493507255590869780.post-80224216752139151582010-11-03T14:22:43.650+01:002010-11-03T14:22:43.650+01:00PS. It ended up being much less easy than expected.

Anyway.

I must add one thing.

You know that I love comics probably more than books.

But I must say that the vagueness a book can bring is what makes reading such a wonderful thing to do.

Isn't it just amazing to use your imagination to create faces and landscapes?

This is something a graphic novel cannot do well, since you are just shown everything.

Not saying that one is better than the other, they are just different :)Francesca Mancusohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04545241554484523872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2493507255590869780.post-86531474002624488442010-11-03T14:11:37.697+01:002010-11-03T14:11:37.697+01:00Oooh!
